Eastern Procession Podcast #1

Podcast 1 is now up for your listening pleasure.  Once I get this post up, I will also be submitting it to iTunes so you may look for it there, if you are so inclined.

As we say in the podcast, the quality is not great on episode one.  Neither of us have ever used GarageBand (a Mac-specific audio editing program) before, so there are bound to be some kinks.  I have attempted to increase the volume so that the lower points will fill out more, but this may have caused some of the higher points to be just a bit loud.  Please leave us comments with suggestions on how to improve the show.  We had a couple of sugestions for one another, but we did not take the time to listen to the whole thing ourselves, so please, lend a hand in making the podcast more enjoyable everytime.

We went light on the features this time (it is all talk) but a bit heavy on the length (just under 41 minutes).  The episode length will be able half of this in the future, but with missing the pre-move episode, we thought we would treat (if that is the right word) everyone.

Pictures will be forthcoming.  Again, please comment and let us know what you think.

  1. Well here is my first suggestion, a lot less talking from that raspy, clumsy, old guy and more from the chick. Just kidding, I thought the first cast was great and very informative. Especially that part about the holland tunnel(bridge?). Anyway, I am glad ya’ll (ha) are doing well and are getting settled, I am so jealous. O yea, happy belated brithday Cody! Sorry I missed it. We miss you guys a lot, please be safe. We are looking forwad to the next pod cast. Now, here is girl.

Ahhh! I am extremely proud of both of you!!! It takes a lot to get up and go! Moving to NYC is going to be one of the best adventures of your lives! I just have to say that I hope that you have bundles of fun and you enjoy every second of it!!! Kate! Don’t be nervous about the school because you will fit perfectly! Open yourself up to everyone you meet so you can have awesome friends! Hey Cody I hope you find a fitting job for yourself! Any company that snags you will be very lucky! I hope you don’t have to resort to delivery service but I guess that will pay the bills! I truly hope you both enjoy every second that yall are there! I will be attentive to you next pod cast!!! Yay!

  2. The description of the Smokey Hills intrigued me. Both voices are extremely sexy, I must say. I commend the amount of detail the both of you were able to recall about your trip and can’t help but wonder if it was straight from memory or did either of you write it down?

Suggestions for improvement include throwing in a few advertisements for Coke and Old Navy, music clips of Metallica songs interspersed between segments, hits for donations, maybe a name-change like, “The Howard and Robin Show”, a fight here and there, and an interview with a celebrity about how great they are and how much better they are.

Other than those things, it was a great pilot episode Guy and Gal. Surely this will run for many seasons to come.

  3. Oh, and congratulations on top 8%. I’m not surprised in the least and just a smidge jealous.
